Rooted in the Catholic tradition and family values with an emphasis on academics, discipline and spiritual development, Immaculate Conception School offers daily religion lessons, faculty dedication and expertise, parental involvement, personal attention and attractive classrooms. The school's academic program runs from Pre K through 8th grade. Immaculate Conception School is dedicated to fostering an academic environment where students can fulfill their full potential - Mind, Body and Spirit.

ICS was among the first schools in the area to receive Middle States Accreditation. We have been accredited since 1992/Re-accredited 2006. ICS is well known for a disciplined nurturing environment, family atmosphere, and providing students with individualized attention and encouragement. The students participate and do well in numerous artistic, academic and physical National and Local competitions

Our students' scores on the Terra Nova (Academic Achievement) tests are above the national test scores. The students' score on the Acre Tests (Content Religion Exam) are among the highest in the Archdiocese.

The school's Science, Computer Labs, Wireless Capability and Smart Boards provide students with opportunities for "hands on" learning and Internet access, as well as complete programs in art, music, world language, and physical education. Students are challenged by the Pre-Algebra/Algebra Programs and the emphasis on the different writing genres have prepared our students for high school. Civics, Map Skills and computer integration will the focus for the upcoming school year.

The graduating students are accepted, receive scholarships, and are placed in honor classes in the area's Catholic and private high schools. Our graduates attend: St. Peter's Prep, Don Bosco Prep, Academy of Holy Angels, Immaculate Heart Academy, and St. Dominic's Academy. Immaculate Conception School offers two scholarships yearly to graduates who will be attending Catholic High School. The recipients this year were Christopher Carpenter and Toni-Anne Fajardo.

Students are given opportunities to participate in basketball and cheerleading. Students are encouraged to run for student council, work on the school newsletter, yearbook, service projects and various other activities. They are given many opportunities to continue to develop their talents
